There’s a century of our recent history expressed in the styles of Madame Alexander Dolls. Beatrice Alexander Behrman had a passion and a vision. Not only did she want to bring happiness to a child, but she also hoped to bring some understanding of the world by creating dolls that were modeled after living people. She expanded to license the use of motion picture characters, characters from books, and recently even Disney Princesses
Madame Alexander Dolls are not only enjoyed by several generations of children, but they have been in exhibits at the Smithsonian and the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Many adults are collectors of Madame Alexander Dolls, often getting their start just as my daughter.
